There Is A Mother
Who Takes Care of Us All
Is it not so? That there is a Mother who takes care of us all. I don't mean just your physical Mother (although she is also Mother in a physical form), but the Mother that we all come from, and the Mother that we all return to, and the Mother that holds us right now, right here. A Mother that we are intrinsically a part of always, we are not separate from her, even though pretty much everything in our society and our religions would like to convince us that that is not true. Male mind dominated societies and societal structures and religious archetypes that are solely male oriented, that hold us in the incorrect belief that there is a God, and he is a He.
The Great Mother holds us all, all the Buddhas, all the Saints, all the Sinners, all the everyday people, all the natives of the land. We are not separate from Her - the Whole that contains us all. The all inclusive wholeness that takes care of us ALL. We all are in Her, whether we know it or not, it is still so. It just helps (and helps and heals greatly) to know what is the reality. It brings a harmony, a wholeness, a gratefulness. It makes everything and everyone part of one intrinsic Wholiness. That is sacred.
