The Choiceless Choice

Maturity comes when you get really, really, really tired of 'your' own mind, your strategies, your lies, your lying to yourself about what is truly important, truly meaningful. You see your life slipping by, and you see you've missed a vital opportunity to be Real, to be A Lover of Truly Being Here, fully and completely. You put everything at stake, everything is at stake, and when you realize that, when life confronts you with the absolute necessity to come from something Real and drop out of all phoniness, you die to all the unreal.

The choice is made, not of your doing but through existential experience and tiredness of all that is phony.

It happens out of life experience, and you put everything at stake, now or never, not maybe some day, maybe sometime in the future, now, now, now, your house is burning, your precious life is ebbing away, and you still haven't staked everything for LOVE, for the REAL. Now is the time. Put it all at stake. Come Home. The Elephant is a quiet guardian of the Eternal Now, of Being Real above all else.
